McMillan acknowledged the team's inconsistency, stating, "We have a long way to go to reach the level of consistency needed to be genuine contenders."
But here's where it gets controversial... McMillan believes Munster's eagerness to perform well sometimes works against them. "The team's willingness to excel can lead to forcing plays," he explained. "We need to trust the process and let the game flow naturally."
And this is the part most people miss... Munster's challenge lies in converting their efforts into points. Despite their hard work in training, they struggle to turn possession into scores. "Our 22-metre entry conversion rate is a concern," McMillan added. "We're working hard to improve, but it's a process."
